The Train Keeps Rollin'
It's a busy year for Mack MacKenzie. He has been on the road since April with performances across Canada and the USA. In Quebec this summer he has played the opening night of the Listuguj 25th Annual Traditional Pow Wow and performed with Three O'Clock Train in support of the Native Women's Shelter of Montreal at Cabot Square.
While on the road he will be stopping in LA to record a new EP with a single. Cuatro de Los Ángeles will feature three original Three O'Clock Train unreleased songs and a brand new version of the 1982 Rank and File song "Lucky Day" produced with original Rank and File member Tony Kinman. This tribute is the result of a special collaboration between Mack MacKenzie and Chip Kinman during a 2016 tour with Three O'Clock Train and Chip's band Ford Madox Ford.
Mack will return with a full band featuring Jonathan Cumins (guitar), Alec MacElcheran (bass), Colin Burnett (drums) at Montreal's cosy-est concert venue, L'Escogriffe!
